Performing-Competition Checklist and Caboodle list

1. Organize your caboodle (items listed in 4 and 5 below)
2. Check all costumes for correct pieces
3. Put your first and last name inside every costume piece (the tags must be taken off)
4. Be prepared with all of the correct make up
    - ULTA eye shadow: Silk, Mink
    - ULTA cheek color: Fame or Radiance
    - Black Mascara
    - Liquid Foundation
    - Powder
    - Mood Lipstick – Can be found at Sally Beauty Supply
    - Maybelline Superstay Lip Color:  Ruby #715
    - Ardelle Eyelashes: Size 105 (Osco or ULTA) 12 year olds and up
    - Eyelash Glue
    - Black Eyeliner

5. Be prepared with all your own necessities
    - Fine tooth comb
    - Brush
    - Tide Stain Stick or Stain Wipes
    - Hair nets
    - Athletic tape
    - Lots of bobby pins
    - Lots of hair pins
    - Lots of safety pins (All sizes including lots of Large)
    - Scissors
    - Hairspray
    - Spray gel   
    - Elastic for hats   
    - Q-Tips
    - Baby Powder
    - Deodorant
    - Band aids
    - Hair ties
    - Small sewing kit
    - Multiple sizes of rhinestones
    - Rhinestone glue (can be found at Michaels)
    - Spirit gum
    - Nail Polish Remover
    - Cotton Balls
    - Kleenex
    - Baby wipes or Make-up Remover
    - Lotion
    - Tampons
    - Panty liners
6. When at competitions, you must wear your black cover up over your costume.
7. When you are on stage for awards, you must be wearing your warm up suit jacket.
8. Have extra pairs of tights with you at all times when competing/performing including fishnets.

Tips: Eye shadow brushes work well for putting on shadows. You can purchase inexpensive ones at Ulta, Target etc.. If you use water on the brush, the shadow is easier to put on and stays on much longer. Applying powder after the foundation and blush will help set the make-up and make it stay on longer.
